Ricky Gervais and Jon Stewart Play House
When Daily Show host Jon Stewart welcomed funny Brit Ricky Gervais to the show, it was apparent they were fans of each other.
But the two men share more than a comedic bond, and Stewart was quick to make a thoughtful comment about Gervais’s slimmed-down physique in the clip below. An adorably charmed Gervais returned the compliment and suggested they do a show where the two comedy stars were “just kissing.”

Prolific and creative musician Batmanglij spoke to 'Out' magazine about his aspirations for the new album and carving out a spot in his gay fan base’s heart with songs like Vampire Weekend’s “Diplomat’s Son” and “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” from his side band, Discovery.
‘The Runaways’ Is Ready to Premiere in L.A. and NYC
After generating strong buzz at the Sundance Film Festival, girl rock group biopic 'The Runaways' is set to bow in Los Angeles March 11, followed by a New York City splash March 17.
Stewart has said she felt empowered taking on Jett’s unapologetic persona. “Whenever I wasn't coming from the right place,” the young actress explained, Jett had words of encouragement: “She was always like, ‘Kristen! P*ssy to the wood! F*ck the guitar!’ I was like, "OK … So when you have Joan Jett telling you to f*ck your guitar ... Yeah, I liked it.”
